Progress in the studio

After waking to rain hammering on the windows at 6:30 this morning, I wasn't expecting much from the day. By 10 the sun was out with a vengeance. It's best not to jump to any conclusions with the Ruhrgebiet climate.

I am revealing my art naivete here, but am curious about why you hang the paintings sideways and upside down? Or have we had ours upside down this whole time?

Glen,

your painting is hanging perfectly. I prefer to hang the paintings in different directions, depending on what I'm doing to them. It would be a little like taking the carburetor out of your auto and putting it on a work table to clean it. Turning the painting sideways makes it easier for me to get at a particular part and work on it.
